The Project
Jet Plant has been deployed across four separate week-long night shifts to support the programme, with further visits anticipated, as the project progresses over its estimated 18-month overall duration.
The Approach
Material is left in situ following milling and Jet’s road sweeper, equipped with a mechanical gully sucker, extracts and disposes of the waste from site.
This approach ensures clean, accurate trenching with minimal disruption to surrounding surfaces and infrastructure.
The Results
Working exclusively during night shifts, Jet’s crews have adapted to the logistical and safety demands of the live motorway environment, supporting Volkerlaser in maintaining progress across the scheme.
Equipment deployed includes:
0.5m planer for joint milling
Road sweeper with mechanical gully sucker for material extraction and disposal
Jet’s specialist equipment and experienced operatives continue to play a key role in the success of this high-profile infrastructure upgrade.
