The Project
Projects often vary significantly in scope based on the location and size of stores. Ranging from small remedial repairs completed in a day to full car park resurfacing programmes spanning several weeks. This can often including Sunday working to minimise disruption to customers and store operations.
Works are typically phased to maintain site access and safety, with close coordination between AA Retail, store management and delivery teams.
The Approach
The original scope of works focused solely on Tesco sites, but as a result of successful collaborations, Jet’s remit has now expanded to include Morrisons locations. This reflects the strength of the partnership and Jet’s ability to deliver consistently across multiple brands.
Jet’s Contracts Manager assesses each site individually to determine the right equipment and phasing strategy, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency for the customer and the supermarket itself.
The Results
Typical equipment deployed by Jet includes:
1m and 350mm planers for precision milling
0.5m planers and bobcats for confined or detailed areas
Jet’s crews are experienced in working within live retail environments, ensuring safety, cleanliness and professionalism throughout each phase of project delivery.
